Mac/AOL Users²

Flash 5 is necessary to view the Recycle activity. Mac users running AOL 5 will have to do one of the following (Tip - print out this page to make it easier to follow the instructions):

1. If you would like to view in Internet Explorer 5:
    a. Click the "minimize" button on the top right of the AOL browser.
    b. Open the Internet Explorer browser.
    c. Enter the museum Internet address, and go to the Recycle activity again.
    d. Please note that you will stay connected to the Internet until the AOL browser
         is closed again!

2. If you would like to add Flash 5 to AOL:
    a. Enter the following address into the Web Address box:
         www.macromedia.com/downloads
    b. Choose "Macromedia Flash Player."
    c. Click "Download Now."
    d. Save file to your Desktop or somewhere where you can easily find it.
    e. Find the "Flash 5 Installer" on your Desktop and double click. A window will
         appear titled "Flash 5 Player Installation."
    f.   Select "Custom Install" from the drop down menu on the top left
    g. Click on box for "Install Flash for Netscape Navigator."
    h. In the "Install Location," area select "Select Folder" from the drop down menu.
    i.   Double click on "America Onlinev5.0" folder.
    j.   Single click to Highlight "Plug-Ins."
    k. Click on "Select."
    l.   Click on "Install."
    m. When installation is complete, a window with "Continue" and "Cancel"
         will appear. Click on "Cancel."
    n. You may now return to the activity.
